on: Sucking carbon dioxide from air is cheaper than scientists thought
Pointless? I wish I could back through history, and count how many times "experts" said certain ideas and endeavors were "pointless" just to have them become reality.

Completely agree. Just another example of people over reacting. The other fun part is people trying to explain how it was okay back in '12, but now it's a tragedy.

While their intentions may not have changed, the power and influence they have accumulated has changed a lot. Face recognition and virtual assistants that seem to always be listening without your consent or knowledge bothers people.

on: What Happens When Doctors Only Take Cash (2017)
What about a dermatologist? An appointment has a set fee. If you need treatment for something out of the ordinary, they give you options and prices. Then, you get to decide on how you proceed.
Seems pretty simple.

When you live in the country your concerns are a lot different that when you live in the city. It makes sense that each would have their own representative.

I think it could have been saved. I stopped going there when 90% of the articles was either a sponsored story, or a story so left leaning it was almost unreadable.

"In 30 years" lol, at least the amount of time claimed for the solution is becoming more realistic. 20 years ago, people claimed solar was going to take over in "10 years".

Can we just call them interns? I've known many people who got paid nothing while in an internship, so paying them $800/mo shouldn't be a problem.

on: Soaring Student Debt Prompts Calls for Relief
How about colleges and universities stop price gauging the population? Or, eliminate student loans, so the population will not be able to afford their ridiculous rates and force the cost down.
