on: Roald Dahl ebooks remotely updated to censored versions after purchase
I am not surprise there will be concerted movement to pirate these woke original non-censored books to hit the publishers pocket very hard. Used to see parents in my area strongly encourage buying books even if e-version. Now they actively recommend pirated way....down to which sites and how to best display with best format. They are the tech boom generations and they even actively teaching older boomers to do so. Publishers have no idea what hits them for going woke.

on: Chicago sold rights to 36k parking meters for $1.2B that generate $200M per year
The biggest issue is "responsible government". The closest this ever implemented in world history is Singapore with the government largely stuffed with PhDs and graduates - heck their PM can even solve sudoku in C++. In most cases, government would be closer to American form running by incompetent or less educated leaders of semi democratic with fraud and excessive spending (Sri Lanka, Japan, Germany, etc). I recalled one of German leaders even plagiarised their master/dr thesis yeara ago. In this situation, private enterprises especially lots of it competiting fiercely would be way more efficient. Chicago and Australia privatisations are really just government monopolies relegated to private monopolies. So efficiency of private enterprise will not that readily available in short-medium term. In long term, we dont know - economics theory a lot doenst match up reality. Malaysia has gone through this during their 4th PM and today result is pretty mixed with a lot of corruptions.

on: Dilbert Dropped by Newspapers over Creator's Racist Rant
Many papers in America are already racist. This is just their projections. Our organizations specifically ignore any special treatment to blacks and do fire any employees pro that movement. Good thing we are outside of American reach.

on: Spike mRNA vaccine sequences circulate in blood up to 28 days after vaccination
Because they know already. Many patient died from these jab DIRECTLY. But of course everyone must ignored it. You can see many medical researchers hesitant to research on this topics let alone getting published and then peer-reviewed. Personally I've known people dying DIRECTLY of the jab within 2 days of it. And I know many knowing someone died and not hearing from someone else someone else story. And yet, here even medical doctors have been cautioned not to speak about it or will face consequences not only from pro-vac group but government or medical board displine. So at this point, we will just have to keep it quiet until #1 a lot of people been affected like thalidomide years ago, or #2 nothing happens, and those did died are just collateral damages.

on: Facebook Announces Meta Verified
Facebook want to harvest my data for free and now want me to pay them too? Not going to happen. Every online service is asking for money. I will just switch to alternative freemium if I dont care my privacy. If I care, Facebook is on the lowest pecking lists of all my online services....and that is a very long list.

on: Pentagon Declines to Answer If It Shot Down $12 Balloon with $400k Missile
This is how American military was defeated with absolute humiliation by Talebans and Vietnamese. The opponents simply overwhelm your expensive toys with cheap counter measures. Even American soldiers like Deltas and Rangers couldnt afford to get slaughtered by untrained enemy combatants in the hundreds of thousands. Imagine China flood American skys with a million balloons with fentanyl powders. How effective is American patriots and THAAD and F35 going to defend against that? No wonder American was defeated in Afghanistan after spending 10T ISD and 20 years there. This obsessions with wonder weapon is one of the reason how Hitler loss to Stalin Russia. Guess Americans have to relearn that lesson.

on: Meta just gave thousands of employees poor performance reviews
You assume management is competent. Near 99% of them have no management qualification like MBA. Vast majority got it through "experience". Vast majority don't know how to work with VBA excel to even automate those management spreadsheet. They have never taken any HR degrees modules to even know any theory of human resources.

This is essentially discriminating non-LGBTQ+. This will just trigger retaliation further down the road. We need proper education for tolerance of all sometime around age 14+ onwards. Not going full berserk redictionary everything on the planet.

on: What's Going Wrong in Particle Physics? [video]
Watch the video again. She offered solution. Look into papersthat expound necessary to current model not keep on making science so complicated. If any of tbose papers are real and correct, they would discovered something. As of now...that records stand at ZERO. It burns away useful research grants that would be better put into useful paper research but alas, big names in particle physics dictate more money need to fund their hypothesis because around the corner they will make the discovery....if not....who cares.

Well we can now watch that 90s show ....sort of sequel to that 70s show. 90s are generally good year for America because economies were good. Entering Bush and Obama years by comparisons, terrible.

on: US general warns troops that war with China is possible in two years
The same is true for USA. You can see American society collapsing. American military cant get enough people to sign up. Majority are too out of shape to serve. Then you have underperforming troops that peppered with softies other than a typical male. Police kills for pleasure, elections irrwgularities across ALL election tiers (used to be around local municipal level, but now at presidential level). High homelessness and proverty. Lifespan dropped. Literacy dropped. Significatlnt dedollarization in the last year now in favor of BRICS new currency, gold and crypto. Defeat by Talebans, Yemens and Syrians. Weapons are largely designed for maximization of maintenance then being effective. Expenditure literal has no bounds other than occasionall haggling of new debt ceiling. Compare to China, at least the Chinese able to build mega structures at record speed. You can ask any American architects that Americam absolutely cant built a Three gorge dam due to lack of know-how and severe legal constraint. China is waiting Russia to conclude so as to have strong partners to sink American pacific fleet and setup Eastern bureau for suicidation activities similar lile Mossad but on steroid level akin to what the Chinese practiced during Ming dynasty. USA is going for a very roigh ride in comong decades. Maybe Ray Dahlio is right om his book/YT.

on: ‘Assassinated in cold blood’: activist killed protesting Georgia’s ‘Cop City’
Depends. If the cops involved do have intention to kill, and using the raid/protest to shoot a guaranteed fatal bullets, that is assassination. But proving it is near zero. At best it is just manslaughter at worst (which is bulk of infamous American police brutality), paid leaves. In this case, if the protestors are the usual well-known activist in that region (which sound is), then having him killed off with the cover of protests can happen based on past histories.
