on: I'm Leaving Mojang
I don't like his attitude in the public eye but at least he's self aware and not afraid to say it. That does take courage.

I'm generally pretty open about using web technology outside the web, but come on guys, why do we need this?

Stop this MS h8 shit m8 if anything, MS will bring some stability to that company. Right now it's just a bunch of children making shittonnes of money for an indie games accident. They didn't work for it, they got lucky. Notch just prefers to be a little bitch on Twitter over everything while spending his 10mil a year on holidays.
Anyone who can bring accountability to Mojang will be a good thing.

It won't happen though. The minute that Apple closed off the Mac, with the Mac App Store being the only software source, the minute that idea might have a little credence.

If they can make Vim feel more modern and allow plugins to integrate better, I'd be very very happy to move to this software.

on: iCloud Hacked: Here's What We Know About the Celebrity Photo Hack
Yeah this article is completely awful and was most likely written by someone without any security knowledge whatsoever. Considering the number of victims, all of the possibilities discussed in this article are completely unreasonable.
There's only 2 real possibilities here:
1. iCloud was hacked
2. Someone at Apple can access the data and decided to leak it
I'm leaning towards number 2 myself.

So that means that if anyone dies or is seriously injured on their way to a client, the blood is on the client then? Come on now, that doesn't make any real sense.

So you won't complain if your family are killed in front of you and the police don't do anything? GG dude this is why everyone thinks anarchists and the like are fucking dumb.

There has been, like PCLinuxOS. The problem is that it's not just the interface keeping people off GNU/Linux, it's everything else, like software and hardware support.

Chill out dude it's called progress and it's a good thing. The web is fundamentally different now than it ever was and software is very different. If you wanna go back to 19diggedey-two theres always ancient operating systems or GNU/Linux with some oldass WM like Windowmaker or something.

I want this but I also wanted the leap motion and got burnt bad. This does seem objectively more useful though. When old mate turns the device towards the projector screen and used it as a touch screen was awesome.

on: The Invisible Interface
I appreciate the point the writer is trying to make, although I wouldn't exactly consider Vim the bastion of usability. It's incredibly expressive though and once you learn a few rules you can wield a whole lot of power. I'd like to see more of this kinda setup in other programs.
