Browsers are like "commons" in the Internet space. It is super critical to have a neutral provider that adheres to open standards to have a substantial market share. We need to legislate every device sold (smart phone, PC, mac, iPad etc) to be shipped with a Firefox and/or other neutral open source browser.

I've been a loyal Firefox user since Day 1. Every time I open an Chrome/Edge I get a pop up or notification to change my default away from Firefox. This is pure anti-competitive behavior by the tech giants and needs to stop.

Remote work may be possible for coding type folks. But for real business, especially around sales, relationship building, decision-making, problem-solving...I just don't see how this will be feasible.

You are better off partnering with a professional who has sales background.

I have many years of sales, operations, business and finance experience in the Internet infrastructure industry. I'm an engineer by training, albeit from two decades ago. I want to partner with highly technical co-founders to build and take a product to market.

I had earlier tried routes such as going to Meetups but with the COVID-19 situation that looks not feasible. I would like to meet technical people interested in areas such as 5G, hybrid multi-cloud, Blockchain/Cryptography, IoT, Machine Learning etc.

My email is in my profile. Please contact if you are interested.

Start a company with technical co-founders. The technical co-founders can stay focused on what they excel best: deciding what to build, hiring the product and engineering team, and building it. I will handle fundraising, handling the operations generally, and setting up the sales motion and GTM machine. Technical founders get much of the autonomy and upside of starting a new company while also getting support and guardrails so they can stay focused while having confidence the business is being built well by me.

Does the above answer your question?

Crony capitalism, anyone?

"Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison earlier this year threw a fundraiser at his house for the president. Chief Executive Safra Catz also worked on the executive committee for the Trump transition team in 2016."

Stranger, your links above were very helpful for me in formulating my company's strategy in 5G. we are a big well known player. How can I get in touch with you for a more in depth conversation?

Paper currency is the oldest Ponzi scheme that exists out there. I can wipe my nether regions with it. If there is a collective delusion that it has value, I can exchange goods for it.

My point being, Gold is a delusion, just like paper.

I happen to Sundar very well for past 20+ years. I very seriously doubt the allegations here and frankly surprised his name was mentioned publicly. That is against the law I would imagine. I hope Cisco covers his legal defense. This feels like a disgruntled employee trying to get back at his former bosses.

While I agree nobody should be discriminated against based upon their national origin, race, caste, gender etc., people need to come to terms with the fact that life is unfair. Some day you are the pigeon, some day you are the statue.
