I always wake up after 3-5 hours of sleep, and I usually can't get back to sleep during the night. According to Fitbit sleep monitoring even in those few hours, I don't get much deep sleep. Needless to say I am very fatigued during the day. If it wasn't for sleep medication I would be a complete wreck.

Reliably identifying the superscript locations should be enough since they are in the same order as the footnotes.
It's a little early for feature requests... but I would love to see an EPUB edition! It shouldn't be too hard once done with the hard work of getting the data structured structured.

Now we have n == 2, this could be a pattern. Of course it's a similar situation outside of academia too.

Apparently it's genetic. My genome has 100% correlation with genetic variants associated with insomnia.

Using wind power on the other hand seems like a better fit in this case.

This is what I found "In 2020, France exported a total of nearly 78 terawatt hours of electricity. Meanwhile, electricity imports to France amounted to nearly 35 terawatt hours in total that year."

This page mentions a few more formats: http://microformats.org/wiki/resume-formats
It seems like the problem isn't a lack of standards, but rather a lack of adoption and/or agreement on which standard to follow

Of course that no longer is true because the virus has mutated under selective pressure.
I hope we'll be better prepared next time. Something like a worldwide simultaneous vaccine campaign, instead of disorganized every country for themselves approach we've seen so far.

That being said I will haven't learned how to use it in a meaningful way myself. Getting a good image, and then interpreting the 2d video stream requires training!
Making ultrasound easy enough for non specialists to use will require an AI that guides the user and interprets the images. I'm not convinced skipping FDA approval would be a good idea in this case.

complexworld | 4 years ago | on: Ask HN: Effects of Covid Vaccination on R0?
There are studies, but the ones I have found compare only people are infected. And when you have COVID you're contagious, vaccinated or not. This is then used as a basis for claiming: "See vaccinated are just as, or even more, contagious as unvaccinated!". That's what I'm trying to disprove.
Example of what I have found: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3...
complexworld | 4 years ago | on: Ask HN: Effects of Covid Vaccination on R0?
For society in general, the crux of his argument comes down to:
"Unvaccinated people are just as contagious as vaccinated, so why should I get vaccinated?"
I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find unassailable evidence that vaccinated people are less likely to pass the virus on to someone else.
