This was the first alcohol that my mom let me have and I still cherish it and often have stock at home — although now I have the Costco version.

How do you prevent it from falling off? I am on a quest to find something that is comfortable (ideally around the ear) and won't slip out. I would also like something thing so I can put on a headband and cover my ears in cooler weather without crushing the bands into my skull.

I came to say that this changes everything since I thought the light came first. Still seemed relevant. (not trolling)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let_there_be_light

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, and it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

My rule is to only set "Only Me" permissions for any app I add on Facebook. That way, I can deal with all the news links, socialcam nonsensical tracking and sleep (somewhat peacefully).

Getting back to the topic, I have seriously considered telling friends/family on facebook to change their permissions but don't want to embarass them into thinking that they should be embarassed about the videos they watch.

Zuck seems keen to the Wallstreet fellows on the edge with Facebook's unpredictability.

This is very helpful advice. I had considered publishing my DNA from 23andme after seeing others had posted their genetic data. I am really glad, I didn't and think its quite important that you consider others (including your siblings + kids) before publishing such data.

Update: Thanks po. I hadn't really considered the risk of submitting data to 23andme in the first place. Updated the title to reflect this as well.

OT: Despite knowing this, I am sure I would have tried the service anyway. However, after seeing the data, I haven't found it too helpful. Probably, because most of their data is based on older Europeans and I don't fall in that category.

San Jose, CA - Milo.com, part of eBay

Milo's goal is to list every product on every shelf in every store. We have a noble goal of trying to help shoppers find products in store. Surprisingly, the vast majority of people still do most of their shopping in stores and we help them shop wisely. How? We show you the different pricing options and the distances to stores so you can decide if it is cost- and time-effective to go shop at a local store or use other options. In my opinion, we complement eBay shopping pretty well.

I joined this team as a data engineer a few months back and really enjoy the work environment. We still retain the startup culture (read more on the website) and also get the benefits of the larger company (eBay), which includes technical expertise and operational support.

We are currently looking for data engineers (and quite a few other positions as well). I work on the data team and we get to do a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects. You get to learn how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together and interact with different teams. I have the joy of working with some really smart people. I can honestly say, I look forward to going to work every day after having worked from home for the past couple of years at my previous job.

But, I have to warn you, once you get a taste of Milo, you may not want to go anywhere else...

Oh... and we mainly use Python and we are going to Pycon as well. Check out the website for more: http://milo.com/jobs

PS. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions.

eapen | 14 years ago | on: All Web Developers Should Stop Doing This Immediately

Web developers may not be responsible but they are sensible enough to advocate against such an approach. I have also come across the same issue on my Android phone and even after installing their stupid app, I still get prompted to download it. I gave their app the minimum possible rating.

This is a case-insensitive regex search for strings with 3-4 letters in them.

Great way to advertise the website to one of your target groups. ;) But seriously, I am quite surprised by the number of visits the site gets.
