on: Ask HN: What's the most valuable thing you can learn in an hour?
Fasting... in fact, if you simply stick to just one simple rule which is, eat ONLY when you become hungry, you will reap rewards. Hint: Not everyone needs 3 meals a day.
In order to this, you need to become aware of your body and mind. And for this, you need to learn Meditation which is simply a practice of mindfulness for a set period of time.

I turn it around from the get go, in fact, I never answer any of their questions* and let them provide guesses. It is more fun than their original questions.
I feel that that is really what they like me to do, as they don't come back around after their guesses and say, Dad, what do "you" think or what is the "right" answer?
*besides factual questions and even in that case, I still ask them to guess first

The reason people buckle is because they are victims of their desires/wants or in other words, they are attached or identified with physical possessions (want a big house, SUV, latest phone etc). As long as this is the case, people will eventually succumb and this is what the people at the top are counting on.
Once you get out of the hold of your desires/wants, nobody can have any power over you.

on: I'm 25 years old and I am lost
The Universe is much bigger than you. Go with the flow. Have your ambitious goals as an intention, but take what you are getting now with peace. In the end, your achievement or lack of, hardly matters. Your living of your life with peace, matters. Be attentive and opportunities that suit your intention will knock on your door. Until then, don't sweat.
